The game

Meridian Void, system by system

A top-down space MMO built around three loops that feed each other: build your ship, push into more dangerous space, and shape a story that remembers what you did.

Ship-building with real depth

Start from a hull and make it yours. Layer weapon mods on top of affixes, slot cores and overclockers into sockets, and push weapons up a 20-star enhancement track. Fork and pierce behaviors, stat pipelines, aggregated stats — the loadout is the build.

  • Hulls + modular weapon sockets
  • Weapon mods (horizontal) and stars (vertical)
  • Cores, overclockers, and behavior mods
  • Deterministic, readable stat pipeline

A galaxy worth charting

Every system has a deterministic name and a place in the map. Story anchors sit at fixed relative positions, including Sol out toward the eastern rim. Fog-of-war hides what you have not seen, and a per-system threat level rises uncapped the deeper you push from the core.

  • Procedurally named systems + anchors
  • Fog-of-war discovery, persisted to your pilot
  • Threat level scales enemy tier with distance
  • Wormholes and warp flow between sectors

A story that branches and remembers

Take sides between three rival factions and work through branching quests where your decisions actually change outcomes. The galaxy keeps track, so the choices you make carry forward instead of resetting.

  • Three rival factions to align with
  • Branching quests with real outcomes
  • Choices that persist across play
  • A cast of characters to meet

An economy you can live in

Mine ores, feed factories, craft components and blueprints, and sell into a market with diversified sourcing. Tiers are gated by an item balancer, rarity rules keep shops honest, and player bases are on the way as a designed mega-update.

  • ~39 commodities with real supply chains
  • Factory → component → blueprint crafting
  • Balanced loot tiers and rarity sourcing
  • Stations, fuel, power, and trade

Seams: pocket dungeons

Seams tear open inside systems: ephemeral, instanced dungeons that are fully random yet deterministic. Their champions are strong because they fight with real gear, and clearing one collapses the seam and rolls a random subset of rewards.

  • Instanced, deterministic dungeon runs
  • Bosses geared like players, not stat-inflated
  • Random-subset rewards + community counter
  • Feral, neon-painted enemies

Compete and collect

Climb leaderboards for kills, wealth, reputation, and systems discovered, with live standings and frozen season snapshots. Collect badges across the web and the game, and pin the ones you want every pilot to see.

  • Four leaderboards, live + seasonal
  • Public pilot profiles
  • Collectible badges, on web and in-game
  • Founder badge for the pre-launch wave
