End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a contract between you and Cygnusworks for the Meridian Void game client and related software (the "Software"). By installing or using the Software you agree to this EULA, the Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
1. License grant
Subject to this EULA, Cygnusworks grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download and use the Software to play Meridian Void for your own non-commercial entertainment.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, distribute, rent, lease, sell, or sublicense the Software.
- Modify, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Software, except to the extent the law expressly permits.
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices.
- Use cheats, bots, trainers, memory editors, or unauthorized third-party software that interacts with the Software.
- Use the Software to build a competing product or to host unauthorized servers.
3. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. Cygnusworks and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the Software, Meridian Void, and all related intellectual property. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
4. Online services and accounts
Meridian Void is an online game that requires an account and a connection to our servers. Your use of those services is governed by the Terms of Service. We may update, patch, or change the Software and its features over time, and may suspend or discontinue online services.
5. Virtual items
Any in-game items, currency, badges, or progression are licensed for use within Meridian Void, have no monetary value, and confer no ownership or real-world rights. See the Terms of Service for details.
6. Updates
The Software may download and install updates automatically to keep it compatible and secure. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
7. Termination
This license ends automatically if you breach it, or when your account is terminated. On termination you must stop using and delete the Software. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. The limitations of liability in the Terms of Service apply to the Software and are incorporated here by reference.
9. Changes
We may revise this EULA. Material changes will be noted by updating the date above. Continued use of the Software after changes means you accept them.
